Droit Residents Hold Vigil For Arha Franklin
On Wednesday, residents and community leaders Rosetta Stone V3 in Droit held a prayer vigil for ailing singer Arha Franklin. City councilwoman JoAnn Watson led the gathering in Droits downtown honoring the 68-year-old Franklin, who is reportedly having a surgical procedure today. WDIV Droit reported that Watson spoke to the singer before the vigil. "We asked her, Where would you like us to have it? Inside? Outside? She said, Where the Droit statue is [thats] a beautiful place to Rosetta Stone Hindi have it, " Watson told WDIV. "So we are standing, and praying, on her behalf, and its a blessing to do that." On Wednesday, the National Recording Academy of Arts Sciences announced that Franklin had been nominated for a Grmy Award for her du with Ron Isley, "Youve Got A Friend," in the Best RB Performance By A Duo Or Group Rosetta Stone Korean With Vocals category.
